at the start of 2019, i decided i had way too many clothes and chose to start selling them online (as one often does). i guess i never stopped.

bean by jess was born out of a love for unique pieces that can’t be found anywhere else. as i dove deep into the fashion industry, i learnt about the realities of fast fashion, and its harmful impact on our society and environment. this only fuelled my desire to make a difference.

today, bean by jess is proudly family-run, with both of my parents now apart of the team. together, we source pre-loved and deadstock clothing and accessories from around the globe to give them a second (or third, fourth etc.) chance at life. each item is thoughtfully handpicked, carefully packed and sent off to its new home with the utmost love & care.
