• all purchases are final. 
• all purchases are provided with a formal and valid Australia Post tracking number as proof of dispatch. 
• all items are purchased with the understanding that they are secondhand, recycled, pre-loved or dead stock and therefore, are generally not new. whilst we take every effort to ensure the quality & cleanliness of our stock, some items may have blemishes, stains, production faults, minor wear/tear, or missing embellishments. any minor faults found are noted within the item images and description. notwithstanding this, all items are purchased as is. we are not responsible for any potential wear & tear or maintenance issues post purchase and delivery. 
• when items have a makers label, we use the information provided on that label. that information may include (but is not limited to) material components, wash/care instructions and sizing. some items are vintage and over time standardised garment sizes may have changed. 
• we always provide multiple images, describe each item & provide the relevant garment measurements (chest, waist, hip, length etc.). we strongly recommend that you always refer to these to ensure the correct fit for you. 
• when items do not have a makers label, we can only provide a reasonable estimation of both the materials and sizing. we recommend that you always refer to the images, measurements and descripton details provided to ensure the correct fit for you. 
• we measure all items using the industry standard methods. measured items are laid flat. measurements do not take into account stretch or material variations, and are approximations to the nearest whole centimetre. 
• each item is modelled on within the item description will include the models modern size and height. when a garment has been pinned to fit a model, there will be an additional image provided to see the true fit. 
• all items are individually tagged and tracked within our system using a unique barcode to ensure the item you purchase is the item you receive. 
• whilst we are happy to provide some assistance and/or recommendations regarding fit and size, it is the purchasers sole responsibility to ensure (given the information provided) that the garment will fit them. 
• should you choose to sign up to our mailing list on any sales platform, you agree to us taking, storing and using your data to contact you via social media, SMS, e-mail, or postal mail with marketing and sales offers from time to time. you may at any time withdraw your consent by "unsubscribing". at no time and for no reason will we ever share, sell or on forward your data to a third party.
• BEAN BY JESS is an ASIC registered trading name. the name, logo, trading entity and images are all the sole property of BeanBread Pty Ltd. you must seek and receive written permission from us to use any of our propriety listing information.
